Abbey Chase is a true nature lover’s paradise, surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens home to many unique features including a walled garden, evergreen oak tree and octagonal carp pond.
Residents at Abbey Chase enjoy first-class accommodation with modern facilities. The available single and shared bedrooms are welcoming and feature scenic views of the grounds, river and surrounding countryside, with some rooms also offering en-suite bathroom facilities.
The team at Abbey Chase is passionate about providing care with dignity and individuality in mind. With a primary focus on delivering exceptional residential and nursing care, the home is also proud to offer respite, dementia, palliative and end-of-life care.
To ensure the highest level of health care is maintained at all times, Abbey Chase regularly welcomes a range of health professionals including doctors, dentists and physiotherapists.
From the initial meeting with the manager, I felt listened to about my dad's needs and difficulties. The home wanted to know about his family, friends and hobbies so they could start creating engaging conversations with him. The staff are so attentive and encouraging with him. He has improved greatly in the short time he's been there, all due to their care and attentiveness.

My name is Maria Krystyanc, manager of Abbey Chase, a 1920s country-house setting. I have worked at Abbey Chase for more than five years and was recently promoted to Home Manager, a position I love. I pride myself on getting to know each of our residents and their friends and families individually and am always available to answer any questions you may have.
“We are very impressed with all aspects. The staff are very caring and in all my and my family visits we have observed the kindness they have all shown to all. I think the fact that my husband came in for two weeks to give me a break, and is still there more than a year later (very much his own choice) speaks for itself!”
